The eagles are so big now! We can't call them babies any more... *sniff*

No, definitely not babies anymore. But fortunately all healthy and hearty. :)

That assassin bug sounds awesome. What does it assassinate, I wonder? :)

Other bugs, mostly, but occasionally a human if someone puts his finger too close! (Although it gives a painful sting, the bug can't really kill a human, thankfully!)

Great photos. How did I miss them yesterday? Love the frog. I have this thing about frogs. *g*

The eaglets are looking great and ready for the great adventure.

I'm not sure how you missed them but I'm glad you found them. *g*

I really like frogs, too. This one was sitting quietly under the porch rail. I wouldn't have seen him if our cat Pepper hadn't been sitting about a foot away from him, staring intently. Thankfully she prefers hunting small mammals to amphibians!

He was lucky it was Pepper who spotted him instead of Pip or Domino.

Pip might have presented a danger, but I doubt Domino would have even noticed him... and had he, he probably would have sniffed him and then as soon as the frog jumped, ran away in fright! LOL Domino's not exactly the greatest hunter of the age. *g*
