Pip is not pleased. She howled as usual for me to let her outside, then, once through the cat door, she came to a halt with only three feet on the ground before turning around and coming straight

It is SO COLD here, too. I didn't leave the house at all yesterday (because of ice everywhere) and I don't think I'm leaving the house today either, although I should probably start my car at least at one point!

I'm sure you're colder than we are here, but we've done the same. Went out briefly Friday evening before the cold hit, then yesterday and today we're hunkering down and eating way too many carbs. Everything outside is a block of ice right now, including the roads. :P

I know what you mean! My porch is packed with cats and my little Chihuahua is all curled up in his bed with sides, nose to tail and wearing his little sweater. Luckily, he does use pee pads.

Domino fortunately doesn't mind going out long enough to do his business... he doesn't like it, but he does his business quickly and then hurries back inside. Right now all the critters are curled up in little balls sleeping. I think hibernation instincts have kicked in. XD

Indeed! When we get our 104 degree days in the summer I know Pippin wonders why I don't make it stop.
