For my article this month (which let me tell you, is one of my least favorite areas of ministry) I'm writing about good deeds you can do in 5 minutes or less. I get sick of people saying they don't have time to make a difference.

Putting the cart back in the corral - good for people parking their cars, and the people who work there.

Writing a thank you note.

Throwing away a piece of litter.

Sorting your recyclables

Changing your light bulbs to the energy efficient ones.

Turning off the lights when you leave a room.

Walking up one or two flights of stairs instead of taking the elevator (better for you and the environment)

I thought of more things:

Clean your dryer vents - prevents fires and makes your dryer more efficient.

Hang your clothes up to dry.

Turn down the temperature on your water heater.
