Throwing away a piece of litter.
Sorting your recyclables
Changing your light bulbs to the energy efficient ones.
Turning off the lights when you leave a room.
Walking up one or two flights of stairs instead of taking the elevator (better for you and the environment)

Clean your dryer vents - prevents fires and makes your dryer more efficient.
Hang your clothes up to dry.
Turn down the temperature on your water heater.
