I don't get it. What has LJ done with their login prompt? Why am I suddenly forced to use openID? What was wrong with the way it was? I don't have an openID and I don't want one. Nor do I particularly feel like linking my LJ to my facebook, thanks.

And I'm leaving home in about a quarter of an hour. Cue travel nerves.

I have no problem with them making improvements and whatnot. It just annoyed me that i suddenly couldnt sign in mormally. I had to go and find a comment form login prompt. Which is just... buh?

Ugh that sucks. I don't have or want an open ID either. The main reason I have an LJ is so that I can keep fandom and rl separate in the ways I want them to be.
