  • Item The First. We Has New TV. Well, actually, we has old hotel TV. Let me explain. Our main TV was a 27" JVC TV that we got around 1999 after our old house was burgled. In the last few months, it had an odd problem: the top of the image seemed aimed down (i.e., we had a black bar just at the top), and the real top of the image was reflected upside ( Read more... )

I like the symbolism of your Obama icon: A pretty view, but a dangerous route.

You may interpret it as you like; that is not my interpretation. As you know, all my icons contain a Route 1 logo, and this is one of my icons showing support for Obama. I believe, in fact, that it is the other ticket that provides both a pretty view, as well as a dangerous route.

Nah.

McCain is I-5. He's been around for decades. We know where he's going.

The program looks like a '70s cop show (like The Beastie Boys paid tribute to in the Sabatoge video), and I didn't really watch those (except Dragnet and Adam-12).

McCain is I-5, you say. I-5 is boring. It may get you there, but it is controlled by the big industries (truckers). Apt analogy.

The only thing you have right is 1970s. It had absolutely nothing to do with cops. I'll give you a hint: The guy getting out of the car is Michael Constantine.

There is no question that the engineer ran the signal. Reports I hear say that the engineer was sending a text message at the time and missed the signal as a result.
