day three; curse day

Oct 17, 2006 15:46

I don't think I've ever heard these words before.

[OOC; Garnet is unaffected, alas. I had typed a post up for her, curse-wise, and just couldn't post it. So wrong. xD]

Under a rock? I don't exactly think that's the right way to put it in my case..

But something like that, maybe.

I may have heard something like that among, maybe, insect tamers? They're nice people, though. Just not very... "sophisticated". Not that being sophisticated is worth much where I come from.

You, on the other hand, seem to be of noble descent.

Insect tamers? I might have heard a word or two of it in Treno, but those words certainly aren't ones used everyday where I come from.

Noble? I--

Is it really so obvious?

Oh, pardon me! Insect tamers are a kind of people in my world who are more or less outcasts of society and not widely respected.

I don't think there is any place where so many people are using swearwords at once. *laughs*

Well, you do hold yourself with dignity - and well, maybe I noticed because I myself was born with the title of princess, albeit only of a small village, and I do not carry it any longer.

The people of the Valley are quite stubborn about it though.

They sound similar to what people think thieves to be in my own world. These thieves, I've met them, they're actually quite charming when they want to be.

I certainly hope not! I feel sorry for them.

Well, as Zidane might say, I guess the cat's out of the bag. I am also a princess but, unfortunately, it's a title I am unable to rid myself of. I enjoy adventures much more than I do living a boring, caged life.

Are they?

[OOC; I think Garnet just found her best friend. xD]

Unfortunately, I don't even think I can give you fun definitions for these ones.

It's fine, Zak. They don't seem like fun words, anyway.

I'm glad you're not under the influence of the curse.

You ought to keep your ears closed then, princess!

((ooc: A swearing Garnet is an inconceivable Garnet.))

How did you--

But if I close them, then I can't hear at all. It's only a curse, right? I can handle hearing it for a day.

[OOC; Seriously! I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Hah. Garnet is baffled! She doesn't understand how everyone knows she's a princess here. xD]

Alrighty then~ as long as you don't pick up any of it! Wouldn't want a nice girl like you foul-mouthing. Wouldn't that be unacceptable?

So when did you get here~? You don't seem like a newcomer since you know it's a curse day! Unless you inferred from all the network messages...

[ooc: I wouldn't have the guts either. Haha, Dark's just hitting on her. If she really was a princess, he'll offer his services as escort. xD]

Foul-mouthing? Well, you have nothing to worry about, then, sir. I have no intention of There's no way I'm using such language like that..

I've only been here for a couple of days, actually. You're right! I heard about them from a few people. You seem like a nice person, what's your name?

[OOC; Hah! I figured as much. ♥ Strikes deleted, she's trying to be all common-y.]
