Previous project + collection rearranging

I never considered myself a blogger, but I think most of it is almost done as a reference for myself and a way of being able to look back years later at my previous stages of progress. I'm happy if others are also enjoying it too though,I think I could get used to this; I used to write journals in a binder, usually nothing personal, but it's a bit ( Read more... )

Thank you! :D
They're so beautiful when they're lit.. I actually thought they looked a bit tacky like this but apparently everyone else likes them lol. ;_;

YEEEEAH they are basically my favourite part of my collection now.. and seeing all of these figures pop up on Y!J is just making me even more excited. It never used to be that way though, I'm sure you're aware of the sudden explosion of them on Y!J. It's hard to be hype about something that doesn't come around too often .. which happened with the metal figures before and tends to happen with pokemon with little merchandise. I'm just glad I have more to look forward to. :D

Thank you! A friend actually custom built it for me years ago.. it weighed like 30 pounds and I had to haul it back from the mainland LOL.

Your sculptures will be forever loved Jade. :D
Everyone gives me compliments on them when they're over. You're very talented. <3

I don't know the procedure for dusting plush (but know it has to be done eventually.. just harder to pick up than on the floor or a desk) but I haven't had to dust too much. I guess I'm just lucky with my new place not being as dirty as the last? XD

Oh god my old place before this.. I would seriously dust and clean for 5-7 hours and still feel like the place was dirty. It was just old though, glad I'm outta there.

I NEED TO SEND EMILY HER PROGRESS PHOTOS FROM OUR TRADE.

:D

I can't wait to see!

The tiny magenta one is actually a Keshimon, not exactly the same scale as the others but it's still metal so I thought it fit in quite nicely still. <3
Maybe the colour is a bit striking though..

The way you have your collection on display looks great in my opinion!! I also love the hanging lights idea, so I may just have to do something similar around my plush hammock...:3

Thanks so much! :D
There's not a whole lot of other room for things in my place at the moment.. I have a big clearing in my living room but I need to find appropriate shelving. I don't reaaally want to split my collection up as I prefer it to all be in my room though.. but it'll get cluttered if I bring all the figures in here too. Really gotta make that call.

The lights are amazing! When they're lit they're some of the prettiest things you can buy for your home in my opinion. Unfortunately the customer service isn't too great where I got them.. it took them 4 months with no contact and they were even rude. At least I got them though lol.

I know how you feel about not wanting to split a collection up! In the end, I am sure you will figure something out. Remember, the way you have your collection set-up now, can always just be temporary. Eventually, you will come across the perfect shelving...;)

I'm just wanting to add more lighting options to the study/art/collectables/reptile room. What?! 4 months, are you kidding me?! Here I thought walmart.com was terrible!! >:(
