The implication is that the deal is for permission for YED to cross the threshold of a home on the ten year anniversary. Isn't it? And then YED takes a raincheck for 6 months and... sigh. *theory diverted* Hm. I wonder if YED had to work some loopholes to get that all to work for the twins.

I think the implication is she gave permission to mess with her kid. Demons seem to have no problem crossing thresholds, the demon got into Libby's house and Meg walked into Bobby's house all uninvited, but the YED wanted to do something with the children, and it needed permission, and I guess the kid had to be born 10 years to the day after the deal.

Apparently so. Also there's crossing thresholds and crossing Thresholds... in the meta section, what I said about the reason I think there's a six-month delay, that's another kind of threshold.

In other words, yes. :-)

Yay CK massive rection post \o/!!!

Misha is significantly shorter than Jensen. They've been consistently using extreme close-ups and forced camera angles when they're filming them, to the point where I started to notice that they weren't doing any middle-range both-heads-in-shot takes at all!

I am eagerly anticipating the moment Castiel has to interact with Sam, just because of this *is five* glee!

+ OMG so many things to discuss, will re-direct you to my own reaction post in the mean time :-D

Aha! I thought so! Glad to see the apple box is still being useful.

Heeeee. Oh dear. Maybe he'll be flying when that happens. XD

Um, wow. I'm not even sure how to comment because there's SO MUCH to say as evididenced by your post. :) I will say it's a glorious recap though. I didn't notice Peter Johnson, will have to look for him on rewatch. Oh, the only car I saw that might not match the timeline is the one Dean's driving! Ack. I knew I didn't want to look it up as soon as I saw it. Square headlights do not bode well for '73 or earlier, it's pratically an 80s thing. I was thinking Gremlin at first too, but now I have a suspicion it's possibly a Ford Pinto ( ... )

His name came up as John was looking in the interior of the Impala, up against a relatively clear background. It made me smirk.

Really? I vaguely remember mom having a seventies station wagon of some kind in the eighties with four square headlights.

spec just gets my brain-hamster running a little to fast for his itty bitty hamster heart

Hee! No worries. Actually, if it hadn't come out of my brain, I'd avoid it because I think some parts of it might turn out to be right. o.O

Awesome attention to detail (Peter Johnson, John's watch, the diner menu prices, etc. etc.) I love your scene by scene comments, although I'm kind of hoping you watched the ep in one continuous go and then rewound for commentary. Need that dramatic flow. Are you going to have time for more meta? There's another ep this Thursday, you know (does the Monday morning "only three more days" anticipatory dance).

Yep, I watch the episode live while it's taping and then immediately rewind and watch while abusing the poor VCR's pause function. :-)
