I sent postcards to Channel Ten here in Australia - one a week for four weeks - basically saying "Please put Supernatural back on and show the last four episodes of Season Three or I'll be forced to download it". The response to the first postcard was "We have no plans to screen Supernatural" but by the time I wrote the last one I was thanking them for deciding to show it again. So, polite messages saying that you really want to watch this show and that if it's not shown on your local channels you'll find other ways of watching (even if you're not planning to) might work.
There's apparently been quite a bit of ownership dressage with CityTV lately, and CTV made off with some bits before selling it to Rogers. CTV may have the Space channel too now. I did find a small article on new shows coming to CTV and A-channel, and none of the above shows were mentioned, but it was mentioned that A-channel was going to be the one to go to for anything more actiony. So maybe it'll be on A-Channel....
yeah it was late april, early may maybe?? nothing TOO spectacular.. right before the season finale aired..
but it would make more sense to put it on A-channel - Smallville is already there.. make up a good thursday night lineup for them AND it'd still be on basic right??
oh and the etalk interview MAY still be up online on the ctv page.. no ideas though... I'm not sure toooo many people caught it. It was just luck of the draw for me :)

So I told my office manager about this too--and she was pissed off as well, and couldn't believe that the "appealing to women" statement came FROM a woman as well. She thought we should try writing letters to the paper, seeing as they are trying to sweep it under the rug right now, and it might help. Thinking about it here.

Well, let's see, the person quoted in the article was a media buyer from something called Starcom Mediavest or something like that. Maybe writing to them and letting them know their media buyer has expressed a misguided generalization to the press? That's gettign a tad personal though. Too bad the article doesn't seem to be open for pubilc comments.
