Torchwood Reactions: 2.08-2.11
Well, it's been a miserable week, being sick was probably the most fun part. I particularly enjoyed the fevered hallucinations. Now the CityTV fall schedule news has got me into a funk.

Adrift really depressed me. it is one of those "can live happy never seeing again" type of episodes. really. Haven't read your reviews yet as i have to go get ready for work but thought i would say this. oh, and damn i wish i could say a spoiler for last night's Dr. Who!! but i will refrain :)

oh, and the Captain Jack and the poodle ending was done ok but they could have done so much better. I figured he would end up with a Dane, Great that is. :)

I keep seeing people on my f-list jumping up and down about the current season of Who and they're being very good and non-spoilery for the most part but darn near every week there's three or four people going, "OMG DOCTOR WHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! *FLAIL*" and it's making me very curious to say the least.
oh, and the Captain Jack and the poodle ending was done ok but they could have done so much better. I figured he would end up with a Dane, Great that is. :)
No no no, see, I heard Captain JOHN ended up with the poodle, which makes sense given his opinion of them in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Captain JACK, yeah, Great Dane, or a Mastiff.

now that the Lurking Wombat has read the rest of your comments, he realizes that he really shouldn't have been drinking a can of coke at the time. had to clean off my new flatscreen monitor from spraying coke on it. laughing at your comments :)
so now you are ahead of a couple of people here as far as the show goes.
and just so you know, i am behind in Dr. Who myself. Just had a look and i am 5 episodes behind. Though every week i download them, and then read the episode on Wikipedia. Just haven't had the time to watch them yet. Can't wait to have you here to watch them though :) like having your reactions in real time instead of having to read them.
Wedding epi. of Torchwood was really good. and the last real levity in the series. Do you have the end of Torchwood? can't remember what you got

I only have up to 11 of Torchwood, so I haven't seen the finale yet, but I've heard a few spoilers and yeah, I can see how the wedding ep might have been the last 'light' one.
