Weird-I've seen that trailer at every movie I've attended in the last few months, I think! I've been waiting eagerly for it since late summer or early fall.

I have no idea whether they're advertising on tv. We use TiVo to skip commercials.

I'm very excited about it!

The last movie I went to was Doctor Strange and there wasn't one on that, but that was a while ago. It could just be I'm in Canada and they aren't promoting it as widely up here.

My husband saw Doctor Strange and is sure he saw the Hidden Figures trailer with it, so they must not be promoting it as heavily in Canada.

We're in Florida, which is very space-oriented, so we might even be getting it more than other parts of the States.

Makes sense. I hope that doesn't mean it's not going to be widely released in Canada, though. That doesn't happen often these days but it sometimes does. :-/

Absolutely!

I just went on the waitlist for it, which isn't too long right now (16) but I expect will pile up after the movie release.

I need a release date for it so I can recommend it at work. I work in an almost all African-American school. I did see it over the summer in one movie I went to, but I don't go to the movies a whole lot. I'll have to see if I can find a date.

It looks fascinating.

Here's the IMDB release date page. Looks like limited Christmas Day release in the US with General release on Jan 6th.
