I was laughing hysterically just reading that!

I'll hopefully see it when it comes to our cheap theater, but yeah I understand.

It was a real hoot and I'm glad I took the chance to see it, though I ended up feeling wretched today and going home from work early to collapse today. Staying out past 7 or 8 on a work night destroys me these days.

Aaaww I hate when that happens!

Glad you went to see it.

I'm planning to go see Independance Day this weekend since it's in the cheap theater, but maybe I'll change my mind and see if my friend wants to see Star Trek.

I wanted to see Independence Day in the theatres, but it hit and left here so fast I didn't even realize it had been out.

I've had almost no interest in seeing the new Star Trek, but I keep hearing that it's really good. Probably won't make it to the theaters in a while but when it's on DVD, I'll pick it up at the library.

It's very fun and quite hopeful. Visually it'll be fine on DVD whenever you get a chance to see it. *hugs*

Most of your high points were my high points too when I saw it a couple of weeks ago, Spock and Bones being my absolute favorite, with the space station second and all the Anton/Nimoy stuff third. Also, your review just made me grin like an idiot, so mission accomplished. ;)

Spock and Bones' snarky semi-caustic friendship has been one of my favourite things about Star Trek all the way back to the original series. Very glad to give you a grin.
