Disaster Kitchen: The weather today is cinnamon.

I have a load of spices that I frequently use, but they're all in bulk bags and ziplock bags, so I decided to get some jars to put the spices in like I was an adult that actually had a clue what I was doing. However ( Read more... )

Heh! I grew up living near a spice factory, and some days the weather pretty much was cinnamon. :D

I grew up next to a large commercial dairy farm, so cinnamon weather seems much more pleasant.

Of all the spices that could have been blown around your kitchen, cinnamon is probably the best.

I use a small plastic funnel to transfer spices, and we are very glad to have it!

I got most of it cleaned up but it took til after 2 AM last night. Now of course I'm trying to bake bread and the kitchen is a disaster again. Bah.

It turned out like starch bricks. Could have gone worse, but I wouldn't inflict it on anyone I liked.
