I'm glad you're back. I'm sorry that this hit you hard. Sometimes that happens and it really hurts.

-I think I mentioned last time that I'm glad that Dean has someone to talk to about Sam, and that it's Charlie. Because Dean needs to talk to someone, and it's hard to talk to Sam about how Dean feels about the situation because Sam has serious business to deal with already, and Dean being Dean figures talking to Sam about Sam would add to his stress

I just wish that Sam could find someone to talk to about Dean. I mean someone who isn't a demon trying to manipulate him, or a creature that Dean feels he has to kill or a person who isn't killed violently in front of Sam's eyes 3 minutes after he actually started talking to her.

I don't know why, but to me Sam's always seemed less emotionally constipated in general, and about Dean, although talking to Dean would be a good thing for Sam to do right now. If he could find someone to talk to about the Trials and what he's going through that might help too.
