Since nothing appears to be coming out of my brain except tripe, I thought I should put something into it instead. So I watched Hawking, the BBC biographical movie about Stephen Hawking, starring Benedict Cumberbatch.

I thought that I wouldn't be able to not see Sherlock from Benedict when I started watching this.

Totally agree with you. I thought, "Oh, it'll just be like watching Sherlock," but from the very first scene where he's sitting in the chair, I was like, "Whoa, who is that?"

It's a great movie, and taught me so much.

It's quite astounding how fully he changes between roles.
