They put 'em in there, I just sometimes spot 'em. And an exclamation point is a better sign of quality in a incantation than a smiley face would be. ;-D

I wonder if the writers remembered that "only an angel can kill another angel"... so theoretically Dean couldn't have killed Raphael and Sam couldn't have killed Cas even WITH the angel-killing-sword...

Considering Dean killed Zachariah with an angel sword last season, the more accurate statement the show could have made on the matter would have been:

"only an angelic weapon (that angels aren't supposed to loan out willy-nilly to mortals but certain angels apparently do, (yes we're looking at you Castiel)) can kill an angel"

...buuuuut this show's relationship with accuracy is a bit lax. ;-D
