I didn't see any resemblance to Mark, but I am sometimes a bit face-blind. The scruff was Markish though.

Longcoats!! \o/

Yeah, Castiel sipping on Soul Juice for the Greater Good is absolutely nothing like Sam sipping on Demon Blood for the Greater Good is it??!

I have a nasty feeling Cas is going to turn out to have some soul farm up in Heaven where all the humans are only there as battery back-up, like in The Matrix! Be interesting if he did turn out to be season 7's Big Bad, especially as Eve has been pretty dull so far this season.

The DS9 line was a nice memorial to Jim Beaver's wife Cecily who played Moogie in the show.

I am a very, very bad Andromeda fan as it took me about four appearances to realise the deputy was played by Gordon Michael Woolvett, whose brother Jaimz, interestingly enough, played opposite Clint Eastwood in Unforgiven. I am a mine of useless information today.

Matthew John Armstrong who played Finch was in Heroes. As a I guy who could kill people by touching them. Think he nuked people from what I can remember!

I remember your Who crossover Western! It was awesome, as I recall! You really ought to finish it some

Yeah, not at aaaaall. XD

Given the 'Heaven is where you relive your best memories' it kind of is almost the Matrix.

I cannot believe I missed the shout-out to Cecily. D-:

I really should, and I intend to, along with all the other WIPs and owed fics on the go. It's driving me nuts, but I'm trying not to post any updates now until the end is written, because this is ridiculous. I hate leaving people hanging. :-/

When I get a chance to sit down and get the OC under control (and get the Doctor to stop yammering on) I think it will survive. My overarching plans are still viable, and not much got specifically mangled in detail. Much. Sigh.

I owe auction fics though, and have other WIPs, so it's going to be a while yet.

*tries to think of some kind of parallel meta regarding Dean's new Sheriffhood and Castiel saying he was going to go be the new sheriff in Heaven or something and fails*

Yeah -- that one is begging for some brain. But... so many threads of thought to brain on from this ep -- the good, the bad, and the ugly. (I'm not sure if Cas is qualifying for the bad or the ugly hat right now -- need more info!!! but I'm so very curious about how corrupt Heaven's sheriff has become, and if maybe there needs to be a new sheriff in town *cough*)

I think he's hinting towards the bad hat, but with good intent. Which is scary.

This episode=made of the most awesome stuff ever to awesome. Holy crap. It made me so happy. You didn't came that ridiculously adorable grin on Dean's face after the Posse jokes though! I have to find a cap of that. He looks so silly and cute. LOL Can't wait to read your fic someday. I know you are being spied on by Kripke/Gamble so don't worry about it seeming like you borrowed elements from them, I know it's really the other way around! ;)

That whole scene in the graveyard was too darn dark to et much in the way of caps, at least on my screen. I fully intend to finish that fic, someday. You might be a grandmother by then though. O.o
