I have a nifty book called "The Complete Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook". I realized while looking something up tonight that most of it makes for great fic prompts. So, if anyone wants an entirely random prompt that ranges from mortal danger to extreme crack, here's what to do ( Read more... )

157: How to escape from a sinking car (Sub section; How to avoid breaking through the ice)

26: How to fend off a shark (Sub section; Three kinds of shark attacks - "Hit and Run", "Bump and bite" and"Sneak")

87: How to treat a scorpion sting

159: How to escape from the trunk of a car

30: How to escape from a giant octopus.

Those actually all almost fit together naturally, if you leave out the ice part and have the scorpion on the beach. Someone's having a bad day at the seaside. XD
