Okay. Fine. So last week I got a bunch of fresh strawberries on sale and froze them, figuring I'd make smoothies. On the first go, (using the special 'crush frozen stuff' setting of the blender) the plastic gear assembly on the blade shattered and shot out everywhere, rendering me blenderless. No smoothies

I can't decide whether killer strawberries are better or worse than Killer Tomatoes... Maybe I should try singing at them?

They are thawing in the fridge. I still don't know what I'm doing with them, but being mushy should make them less lethal.
