Dean should have left the text as "Sammy"! Awww.

I much prefer this idea of Dean after Sam's gone to Stanford - worried and concerned and missing him, but not falling apart completely as he is in a lot of fic.

I imagine there would be good days and bad days while Sam was gone, worse when communication closed two years before the Pilot. This is early days with lines open though, so it's a good day.

I'm glad you had Dean delete the "my." Those small moments of occasional grace balance Dean's more irritating tendencies. Very true to the show Dean.
