I LOVE them making/fixing presents for each other--poor Dean so frustrated that he couldn't get the toy to work. Amazing how they were happier than all the kids pissed off about their inadequate presents! ;)

It's all a matter of perspective.

This is gorgeous, CK! So full of love between the brothers. I snickered at Sam and his brown trowel handle, and just love Dean hunkered on the bathroom floor trying to make the damn walker WORK. Aw, BOYS.

But hey - after 4 1/2 seasons, are their fannish tendencies in doubt? Dean in particular. There's not a thing in this story I waffle about.

The kids: yep. Want to slap them. But they're so very real.

One teeny beany thing: we don't do Boxing Day in the U.S. 99 out of 100 people probably wouldn't even know what it is. *I* only know what it is thanks to having had British penpals for lo these many years. Other than that, this is totally FTW! And provides the warm fuzzies.

Aw thanks!

Really? That's the one thing I didn't research on this, darn it! The US stations I get here have been advertising Boxing Day Sales since last week, but they're all Washington state stations. I guess it's a border-state thing; trying to cash in on the cross-border shoppers.

Awww that was lovely! And I can so imagine the boys going to that much trouble for each other! I have no doubt that Dean had the walker working by New Year!

If he can turn a Walkman into an EMF detector, he can fix a broken toy for sure.
