I like how in your reviews, even when something doesn't make sense you don't get angry like, "I hated this episode because these things didn't make sense and the writers are idiots and why do I even bother watching this stupid show anymore?!". Instead, you either smash it into coherencey (I totally did NOT see you hiding the hammer) or handwave with the, "I can suspend my disbelief because I LOVE this show and like to give it a chance to redeem itself multiple times and forever." :)
I was SO hoping someone else noticed Dean shaking his head "No" when Sam was about to open the locker, because it was so cute and funny.
I also hated how they had to defeat Luther. That sucked.
Arg, I had a huge eloquent response to this typed and LJ apparently ate it. BAH! :-P
Summary:
-Thanks! Some episodes it's a little harder to be 100% positive with, but I gloss over or slide past stuff that I can't rationalize out of harshing my squee.
-Between the head shake and the little whimpery broken "What?" as Sam brushed passed, even though they were played for laughs, broke my heart.
-Luther's defeat was not a good one, and it seemed like lazy 'let's see what kind of special effect we can do' writing.
-Sam's Eyes: Shrieking and flailing aplenty, ask the cat. :-D
Poor Luther--people piss me off, and yes, of ways to die, that was a little, odd. And frighten the poor guy to death(well, crossover), he had a horrible enough life as it was. Anyway, enough ranting--Bobby..omg I love Bobby. Hee, of COURSE he speaks Japanese;) I think I almost passed out laughing when Jensen played his leg--I needed it after the day at work:P Bring on Thurs:)
I realise this is a bit after the fact, but I just happened to be reading this and came across:
And the whole "Sam turning evil" thing doesn't bother me at all, because Dean's totally going to bring Sam back from this when it happens, no matter how far it goes. Because this show is and always has been about the strength of family to survive impossible-seeming challenges. Sam and Dean will end up together, as brothers and family, and it'll save the world in the process. It's going to hurt like thunder getting to that, but it's going to happen.
...and just had to say HOW ABOUT THAT for an accurate prediction? *applauds*
