Lazy Bunny
Kibum likes Jinki.
He likes him very much.
Kibum thinks he might even love him.
He thinks all of this one Sunday morning.
It is one of those days when it is just so cold and you just want to have somebody to cuddle with in bed until noon comes. He realizes this urge to cuddle with Jinki as the said lad’s hair tickles the tip of Kibum’s nose. Their skin shares the same warmth that Kibum loves so much and it makes him dig deeper into Jinki’s side. He yawns in contentment as he feels Jinki’s big, soft hands pulling him closer, almost squishing his body against his, and he feels the same hands lightly squeezing on his flesh.
“Kibummie,” he hears a lazy drawl from above, his ears perking up at the low, almost inaudible voice of Jinki, “let’s stay like this for a few more hours, okay?”
Kibum looks up to see Jinki’s eyes peacefully closed, his thick fingers still rubbing and tickling his stomach and he decides against nibbling on Jinki’s ear as an attempt to wake him up because of this. He purrs and paws at Jinki’s palms for a moment, knowing that the corners of his owner’s lips are already pulled up in a satisfied smile.
He’s sure that Jinki loves him, too.
Definitely.
Curious Kitty
Kibum groans in frustration as he starts to feel cold raindrops hit his skin.
Why did he not listen to his mother’s advice of bringing an umbrella with him earlier?
He slowly looks up and sees the sky gray with big lumpy clouds that looked like they’re getting ready for a full-on heavy downpour. He frowns, thanking his intuition of leaving his art supplies in his school locker. If they got wet, he wouldn’t know what to do. Well, maybe throw a little tantrum, but he wouldn’t know what reasonable thing to do.
He puffs air out of his cheeks, seeing as the rain wouldn’t stop any time soon, he looks around and finds a dry place to sit and wait until the rain decides to stop. He sees and walks to a cheap plastic chair beside an unkempt bush, brushes the dried leaves and stems off, and sits down heavily.
With another long-heaved sigh, he pulls out his phone and pauses to look at the screen only to frown back at the LED light blinking once, twice, before dying completely on him. He groans again at his bad luck.
With his phone dead and the rain still pouring, he is left to watch the rain pitter-patter on the concrete. Oh joy.
That is, until the seemingly dead bush rustles noisily or something inside the bush makes the leaves crunch and shake. He stares at the bush wide-eyed, ready to scream and run under the rain if anything horrible popped out but the rustling stops after a minute, more crunching is heard and Kibum makes out a gray color from inside the bush.
He takes all his courage with him and starts separating the stems and leaves to find out what had been making the noise when a gray, furry thing launches at his hands. He shrieks, pulls back and ends up toppling over in the chair. The puddles of rain water around him splashes onto his jeans, mostly, leaving him staring at the furry thing in front of his feet, now lightly nibbling at the ends of his jeans.
Jesus, it was just a rabbit, Kibum frowns at the innocent animal’s red eyes blinking at him. He stands up and the rabbit twitches as a reflex. Kibum softens seeing the rabbit looking lost, and decides that playing with the rabbit right now wouldn’t be such a bad idea, so he crouches down until the rabbit is only a few inches away from him.
“Hello, little rabbit, how are you doing? Why were you inside the bush, you almost scared me to death!” He lightly pokes the rabbit’s lumpy stomach, and the rabbit wriggles his nose, the ends of his ears standing up. “Well, let’s see. You’re all dirty right now and I bet you’re hungry,” he pets the dirty, but still soft fur of the rabbit. “Would you like to play with me back at home?” The rabbit snuggles its round head into Kibum’s palm, licking his fingers in a painfully endearing way, Kibum smiles.
“Ok, let’s go then.” He carries the rabbit in his arms, waiting for a moment for the rabbit to stop struggling and adjust in his arms before he checks on the rain, it has stopped. He grabs his backpack from the ground, wet and all, but he feels the rabbit snuggle deeper into his arms and he forgets about everything wet, from his jeans to the ends of his hair and to his bag, and grins down at the rabbit in his arms.
“I think I shall call you Jinki, because you’re awfully cute and adorable, and you really are warm and snuggly.”
Kibum laughs a little as he feels Jinki nibble on his shirt’s sleeve.
