The people, the surroundings, the weird buildings, they didn't seem at all familiar to Miles. "Where am I?", he thought to himself. He wandered around the city, lost, and just wanted to find someone who could help him, contrary to his usual self-dependent nature.

"Hau?" Rena walked up to Miles even though she didn't really know the man. "Who are you, I wonder, I wonder?" She asked.

Miles turned around to face the girl. He was suspicious of her, but being the first friendly-looking face he's seen, he felt he had no choice but to answer. "My name is Miles Edgeworth," he answered, "and you are?"

"Ryuuguu Rena but Edgeworth-san can call me Rena," she said happily. "Um..." she started rather tentatively. "Would Edgeworth-san know where Rena is, I wonder, I wonder?"

"Great... just what I needed..." he thought to himself sarcastically, "someone just as clueless as I." Trying to think of a response that wouldn't run her away. "Sorry to say Miss Rena, I do not know."

"Excuse me, lad," began Arthur, approaching as he folded up a London newspaper, "Would you happen to know the time."

Seemingly out of nowhere, Miles heard a heavily-accented English man, then he turned to face him. He reached into his pocket, looking for his pocket-watch, which had magically disappeared, much like how he wound up in this mysterious town in the first place.

"Sir, I know not." he answered. "Would you mind telling me where I am?"

It's alright. :) I don't mind late tags and whatnot. misterunionjack January 5 2010, 06:20:17 UTC
"Shame on you for not having a watch, and mine seems to have stopped working," he states offhandedly, tapping at his wristwatch. "I've gathered that we're in a place called Melanore. It's really quite charming, don't you think? It almost looks like an amusement park."

"Well, I had one." Miles thought to himself. Nearly blinking, he took a look at his surroundings again. "I suppose it is very quaint." he replied. Miles stood beside himself for a moment, not expecting a reply from the Englishman, until he had realised he hadn't asked the stranger's name. "Would it be rude to inquire your name, sir?" he asked.

Sheena had been looking around, trying to find someone who could actually give her decent directions instead of getting her lost even more, but it seemed to be a vain hope. And why were all the people averting their eyes from her?

Weirdoes.

So caught up in her musings, the ninja didn't even notice the male in front of her; probably the reason why she managed to plough into him, "Oomph!"

Walking down the sidewalk, Miles felt an unusually heavy object fall against him, knocking him to the ground. "What the he--" he began to say, as opened his eyes, and found a tall woman (or, at least I'm assuming she's tall) lying on him. "Erm... miss," he began, "are you alright?"

Blinking at the man below her, Sheena stared for a moment. Then, she realized the exact position she was in. Her face turned bright red as she scrambled off the male.

"I'm fine. Absolutely fine. Don't you ever look where you're going? I must have been visible from a mile away!"

Blushing, Miles had nearly jumped. "Don't you ever watch where you're going, I believe it was you who fell on me!" he exclaimed.
