i think this is fucking awesome honestly. I haven't seen you this happy in i can't even remember how long. I totally think that you have something GREAT going on here with Christopher and i am thrilled for you!

seriously, don't feel like you have to justify ANYTHING. Meeting people online is a million times better than meeting people at bars in my book. you get to actually KNOW them somewhat first. It's awesome.

I am SO HAPPY for you and i have really, really good feelings about this. Thanks for writing this post, i feel like i understand more about what's going on with you recently!

I think so too. Because had we met in "real life" first we probably would have already crossed a lot of physical boundaries and that would have completely changed the dynamic of our relationship. This way, we get to talk and really learn about one another without the physical stuff getting in the way, for lack of a better phrase :) He makes me ridiculously happy though, and for now, that's all I care about.

Thanks Rhian <3

LJ-cut.

Be careful. I've seen the online dating thing go both ways, but it's pretty risky to get this emotionally attached to someone - so quickly - when you haven't even met. Just...tread carefully.

So, are you bouncing off the wall waiting for graduation?

Yeah. Today I am actually taking my last final and then Christopher will be here tomorrow and then all of Friday and early Saturday I have people coming in from everywhere to see me graduate! It's SO exciting!

I feel like more and more of my friends have been doing the online dating thing. and for most of them, it has been working out surprisingly well. It definitely speaks of our time! I think it has lost its taboo status, and is becoming a pretty legitimate tool for dating. I'm excited for you.

I met Chris online.
Talked for a year before I met him, even though he lived less than an hour away.
Together seven years.
Had his kid.

The end.

Is this supposed to be a success story? Or just a "hey, it's not so weird and I had a decent run with the guy..." story. I'm just confused because you hate the guy... lol!

Oh, my bad. I don't hate him, I don't like him, I just feel nothing for him.
But at one point I loved him more than I had ever loved anything.
And I loved him before I met him, that never changed after I did.
Well, until he fucked all my friends.

I'd say it was a success, best thing I ever did, I got Logan from it.

Horray for long distance dating, so glad I'm not the only one who does it. Actually, that's all I have ever done. None of them have ever been successful, because we never met, lol. I'm hellaciously insecure. I'm kind of, sort of in one now. I hate when you tell others about it possibly becoming real, they're all like, "he's going to kill you and bury you in the woods." They must not realize this can happen meeting someone elsewhere locally.

Lol. Well Chris and I met online, but we've spent time together too. He came here for my graduation and I went to see him about a week after he left. I much prefer being around him as opposed to being without him.
