I had to look up aplomb, but it’s so Baekhyun and so perfect for the mood.

“Unacceptable,” Chanyeol agrees, from where he’s still demolishing Yixing’s cake. Chanyeol is me, I am Chanyeol. We are soulmates when it comes to cake.

“Quality conversation,” Chanyeol comments, reading over his shoulder, and Kyungsoo elbows him away. Quality friendship right here.

I also had to look up the purple eminence, I like it.

That’s how it happened. NO NO NO NO NO KYUNGSOOO, YOU DONT JUST LEAVE.

I'm so, so pleased you enjoyed this, and even more so that you said it was a nice change of pace! It's unlike the things I usually write and it was tough for me get through this, so to hear you liked it makes me so incredibly happy!

I love this! Laysoo is such a rare pair, and this was so well written. I really like the way you described the settings here; I could picture clearly everywhere Kyungsoo visited. It made the story feel more real, and I love how different places (the street market, the garden) reminded him in some way of Yixing or was tied in some way to Soo's feelings for him.
