[When Blue places that hand over her chest, he can feel how fast Sakuya's heart is beating. How strange, for her, someone so devoted to one single person, one single family, as eccentric as it was, to keep a piece of it hidden. That piece, a piece she didn't know she had until this place. It wasn't just one thing that made her realize it was there. It was all sorts of little things. Little smiles over cups of tea, the care she took to make sure he could focus on research without interruption. That first time she had looked at him like a lover, not just a person she was close to, the first time they had done this - her first time doing this at all.

Those words, those few words, spoke volumes to her. This was something real, something beyond familial love or a servant's fealty, a feeling she hadn't entirely been sure she was capable of. She melted into that kiss, pulling him close, wanting to feel his heart beating against hers. Sakuya didn't have words for all of this, but she hoped her actions would be able to say them for her.]
