I'm thoroughly satisfied and thrilled, and you ended it well and at the perfect spot, but I could've easily devoured another, oh, 150,000 words of this 'verse. Thank you, hon! I love confident and happy-almost-playful Bones, and his special-caring-for-Jim shows so nicely. I could hear Jim's voice and just picture his expression when he was considering that plate of critters. And I love, love, love that they got to just enjoy each other's company and a new adventure without the entire fate of Starfleet resting on their shoulders. Lovely!
