Oh, yes! This is exactly how I pictured/written this in my mind. I guess it's kinda not-real kosher to answer your own prompt. Good thing I had you to do it for me!

It's lovely and warm and full of how Jim would fumble towards expressing the unexpressable, at least until he gets his mind wrapped fully around his feelings, until he allows himself to say the words.
