Dear
bimo,

I only wish I could have you all here for cake, tea and coffee, because given its amazing size it surely would take the entire Navy Girl fandom to eat it all up ;-)
Thank you so much! Inspiration is just the right wish for this year :-)

I hope this was not the only cake you got, and that you had a truly lovely day. We can come and stuff ourselves with cake and talk about Navy things another time... ;)

Ah, Gillette, the bearer of gifts (I so wonder what's in the packets!!!) - one question, though... does the red bow decorate the top of the blue parcel, or is it wrapped around Mr. Gillette's head? If so, I'd like to say that he makes an excellent gift, and that I hope there will be no obstacles in his way. As he probably can't see a thing, this could end in tragedy... :-D
Fantastic, I'm ooooing and aaaaing here! :-D

"What makes you say that's Mr. Gillette? Why couldn't it be me?" asks Mr. Groves, who now sits in a corner and sulks because apparently nobody ever expects him to be helpful.
No, don't say it, I know. You know me too well... *sigh*
Anyway - Mr. Gillette doesn't need to see where he goes, he just blindly follows his Commodore and hopes not to bump into anything. And he states explicitly that the bow is not on his head, but on the topmost present. ;)
