Well, Tuxie lives one county over and about 30 miles west, but she's safe and sound in Germany at the moment, to the best of my knowledge. I am worrying about her bunny rabbit though, as the smoke can't be nice for it. I'm 50 miles the other way, and fine just fine!

Well, that's good to know! I just hope they will get the fire under control soon and that the smoke clears up then.

I'm back at my parents now, will check on bunny tomorrow. She should be OK... the smoke is something else though. We drove through some of it. I'll be keeping my asthma inhaler close by for a few days!

Sorry to hear about the breathing problems... Those fumes can't be good for your health, no matter what officials say. ;_;
