Thank goodness it arrived. I wanted it to be a surprise....so I didn't say anything and was starting to suspect that you'd have graduated before it found you. >D
What did you do deserve it? Just being the generous, sharing person you are is more than enough...and perhaps the fact that your *EEP* in the night when staring down finals made me want to run over and give you a hug and tell you that I'm confident you would do just fine.
I tried to include something that will make you smile, something to keep you calm and something to energize you (and sending chocolate to Germany was rather like sending coals to New Castle so I sent my favorite power food instead)...all things we need when we have a long path to walk and are approaching the peak of a very steep hill.
What a fantastic gift, and how thoughtful! It's such a great feeling to be surprised by friends; especially when occupied with twenty things at once and feeling somewhat trapped, it's good to be reminded from time to time that the "outside world" is still there and caring. :)
And yes, you have been around the RN fandom for way longer than a year. *nods* Which is a good thing; the navyboys are still partying and celebrating the day you discovered them.
