In other news, things are going well. Except they've had to spontaneously turn off the water in my housing unit today, so all I get is tea. No shower before 3 PM. *snark*

Can you imagine - that guy came around and rang at my door at 8:45 AM, telling me they'd shut down the water at 9 AM. *grrrr* And for once, I would have been able to sleep in! Myeh!

Ken Loach is a film director who has done some amazing films... some of them very moving ~ and always with an open eye for the life of the "little people"... see "Kes" and "Raining Stones" (among many others).

Yeah, some kind of wake-up drug is nice. Helps you start your engine... ;)

*grins* Nah, I just spent the day in my PJ's and did some desk stuff - phone calls and organising... then took my shower after my afternoon nap. A very decadent lifestyle, but I felt that since I'd been torn from my sleep like that, I deserved to indulge... ;)
