PotC elves, Or: Pencils gone astray

Jan 15, 2007 20:36

You know, for a second there I actually thought that reading erestor's PotC fanfic would lead me down a slippery slope. I thought that I would slowly but steadily add His Majesty's Royal Navy commodores and captains and lieutenants to my ever-growing horde of muses.

Well, NO. WRONG. )

doom, slash, hmr navy, muses, art, potc

I'm waaaay past the anatomy excuse. That's just sooo obvious it doesn't fool anyone anymore. But since I drool copiously over nekkid men and make good use of my pencils with the blessing of my gay best friend, I shall not complain.
*^______________^*

Thank you for the lovely compliment. I'll go to bed with a blush!

Officially blaming you for having caught my interest for PotC again, just when I had decided that PotC2 sucked bilge water and I didn't need another fandom anyway...
Your Grovette is just plain addictive evil.
There. I said it.

Now, off to bed before the boys make me draw more wigs...

LOL! Well, PotC2 *did* suck bilge water, mainly because it didn't have the lovely Navyboys in it, and not a single military wig.

Bwahahahaha! My evil plan is working.

Oops - what I mean is 'yay, I'm glad you liked it. Thank you!'

Yeah, "no Navyboys" definitely was part of the problem. And the only wig we got to see was that... thing that Norrington wore in his first scene. I daresay it was good that he got rid of that ratty thing. :(

Bwahahahaha! My evil plan is working.

*raises an eyebrow* Yeah, riiiight.

Get out of my head! Aaaah!

:D You're welcome!

YOU, m'lady, will be in deep, deep trouble... I will blame it aaaaalll on you. Everything. Every wig, pigtail, ditty box and gold brocade hem that these boys will make me draw. Every sail, every rope and every plank I will ever look at.
In fact, I blame you for the "Old sailing ships, 2007" calendar I bought today. And the image search I ran on google for "Damian O'Hare", "Lieutenant Gillette", "PotC" and "Norrington"... and the sketches I did between lectures... and, and, and.

I give your Norrington piccie there Elrond's Eyebrow of DOOMtm. Just so you know.

p.s. The *hinthint* offer still stands. ;)

Heheheheehehhe! *rubs hands gleefully* Misery likes company! :-D

*dies* Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear, how can I make up for all your terrible suffering? Choccies? Cakes? :-D

I mailed you today, regarding the "hint hint hint". And if you need pictures of the well-hiding Mr. O'Hare: Galadhir (whose stories I can only highly recommend! For research and all...) sent me three large files, so if you need anything, yell, and I can forward them to you.

Not that I'd want to encourage you or anything... *cough* I also have lots of Norrington... just mention it...

*runs away very, very quickly*

I think I could happily throttle you for using that icon alone! And the worst thing is: the longer you look at Mr. O'Hare, the more handsome he gets... or am I mistaken there?

Choccies and cake sound all well and nice, but I think it'd be much better for my hips (not to mention my peace of mind) if you supplied me with more *cough*material*cough* to work with. After all, we want this to be as accurate as possible, don't we?
Means I'm am very interested in those three files and Sparky stuff. Yes. Ahem.

Will look at emails now - a brainy reply will have to wait till tomorrow though.

Here via joyful_molly. Taking the chance to tell you in person how much I love that illustration !
I took a tour around your website, too. I'm not in the LOTR fandom but I read (and liked) Tolkien's books and your artwork is absolutely stunning.
Welcome to the gutter *g*, ahem, I meant, to Port Royal and its lovely Navyboys and blacksmiths. I really hope to see more naval art from you ! :)

Hello and welcome to my little spot in cyberspace! Glad you like my work - it's the main reason I share it at all... *^_^*

The Navyboy muses have taken up residence in my brain. I just hope they'll understand the need to concentrate on RL stuff first. I mean, EXAMS and end of semester looming too close to focus on hot lieutenants getting it on with horny commodores! *g*

A definite advantage of having Navyboy muses in your brain is that they're very disciplined and tremendously stick to duty (they more than make up for it when on shore leave) *G*

Good luck with your exams :)
