YARN BOMBING

I do not know if this strange practice occurs widly outside UK. In addition I am not sure why people do it, I cannot see it is a protest about anything, or an to raise money for chaitry, or as publicity for an event/club/college course etc etc etc. Maybe the perpetrators do it purely for the fun and to add colour to a location. It surely exists in other places as well, I saw trees knitted around in Prague and in Moscow too, in Gorky park, on a grand scale. Looks cozy and colorful.

That is good to know, I had always thought it was an intenational activity, but have not seen any knitting in my travels. (These days it seems most things are international).

I love to knit, but I do not understand the idea of ​​yarbombing) In your photos there is an example of quite delicate yarnbombing.  But sometimes ... knitters can not stop and forget about aesthetics)
