Wow, this was reallly cute, funny, and sad. It thought it might just be humorous, but I liked the way you used the tamagotchi to explain Wilson's current state of mind, illustrated perfectly in the last line "He had fixed it." I can totally see Wilson promising to take care of a dead cancer patient's virtual pet, and get attached to it because of the loss in his life. I really liked it. :)
