Since you can trade monitors with Leon, it seems that your only problem is the Firewire drives. They make PCMCIA Firewire cards. The last time I looked at one they started at, around, $75.00.

it does have one firewire port, its just both my firewire drives are mac formatted.

..I'm a mac addict, and I've used macs since I was 2 ( with the HUGE floppy discs! that were actually floppy!) so I'm a little biased.. XD

I get more computer with the Dell for my money

that's always the case, when you're comparing mac vs pc.

personally, i hate using macs, so it's no big decision for me. as far as what you should do, i would just go with what you're most comfortable with. in the end, that'll be what really matters.
