American Idol tonight: It's so BIZARRE to see David Archuleta singing the Aussie song! 'Especially since we have Michael Johns in the competition. But I actually thought Michael and David COOK sang the best this week.

God, I hate that I'm following this show...

Well, the second season starts on March 30th, BUT you can download the first two episodes at uk_telly!=P

I'm trying to summon some enthusiasm for the race this weekend - and Martinsville is my favorite track.

Awww, are you still not excited? Maybe Martinsville will bring some good results :). I haven't been ecstatic about the results of any of my motor races, and I wasn't terribly excited when the season started, but for some reason, I find myself, during the week, craving to watch some motorsports! I just can't wait until the weekend comes (because with three motorsports, I'll be sure to find at least one to watch every Sunday/Monday). Well, let's see how this weekend's races go :D.

i was so amused yesty when i heard archuleta was singing you're the voice. amused to no end.

and then when i watched it last night, my ears? THEY BLED! it was terrible. a) there were no bagpipes. b) there was no farnham-esque microphone stand twirling. c) it was really bad.

michael johns, though? ftw.

david cook? release an album of covers now so i can have something to sing to in my car.

Well, I don't think Archuleta was terrible, but I can see how, seeing as we hear the 'original' all the time here Down Under, his version became below par. Good thing for him, most Americans haven't heard that song before (like that caller said on the Results show). I'm just surprised he said it's one of his favorite songs! I wonder where he would've heard it, especially considering his age...

Michael Johns was awesome. I downloaded it and his voice really sounded so pure and brilliant. However, it seems that he's only been exceptional when he sings Queen.

David Cook impressed me. I liked his "Hello" but hadn't been impressed with his performances until this week's. I thought his arrangement was creative and brilliant (though, I heard, it's actually a remake of another singer, not the original Michael Jackson?). He's got a bit of a smug, arrogant attitude though, which doesn't really bother me as long as he stays good, hah...
