Doesn't it JUST? That's why I LOVE hugging scenes. It can always be paused at the right moment, capped, and be 'corrupted' to our heart's desire, hee ;).
Now if PTB can situate any future Allan/Marian in a better-lit environment, preferably outside with plenty of pretty foliage and sunlight-streaming over their visage (and gorgeous eyes), that'd be super peachy, mmmthanks...
I sooo loved reading this! Mostly because I agree on EVERYTHING you said!xD Here's my comment-of-doom:
I've noticed that Marian's not the type to smile with her teeth, like she keeps it for when she's REALLY happy (I know, because I do it too). So seeing how smiley they were, I couldn't help but grin along from ear-to-ear too :D
FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE NOTICED!*______*
I love the fact that Marian's a hair-grabber ;)
SO-EFFING-HOT.
Joe and Lucy, just having a laugh... I adore how they share looks like these, guh!
OMG I KNOW BEST-HUG-EVER & BEST-AFTER-HUG-EVER.
People can't rely on someone else and, if that person disappoints them or is absent in any way (like when Marian eventually leaves Guy for Robin), they can't use that person as an excuse for being evil. Now I'm hoping that Guy will do the right thing... Otherwise, I'll just hope he gets killed off in the finale.
AMEN TO THAT.
Oh God, moment of truth! "There's one I love more than the others." Argh!!! Please let it be Will, please let it be Will, please let it be Will!!!How

I've never obsessively watched ANY Guy scenes... O.o
Same here!xD As much as I love Richard Armitage (North&South...AWWW!), I can't stand his character AND the ship. *points to my icon* xD
Awww, I love secret looks, especially between Allan/Marian!:P Or Joe/Lucy...I had never thought of them as a couple before...I like them!xD
I feel that people have just been making way too many excuses for him (while hating Robin). Sure Robin can be arrogant, but at least he stands up for his noble beliefs and takes responsibilities for his actions. And, plus, for the record, I actually like that Robin is a bit arrogant.
God, I couldn't agree more!*_____* You know what? I'm absolutely sure that EVERY SINGLE Guy/Marian shipper out there like them only because of Richard. If Guy had been played by Jonas and Robin by Richard, don't you think the situation would have been reversed? ;D
I haven't seen Richard Armitage in anything else, so that helps ;). Though I do hear he's good in that series you mentioned. I have SEEN him out of his Guy gear in Hood Academy and read his interview about Guy's character, and he actually does seem like a pleasant fellow

the marian/robin makeout scene in the forest was so cute. why are those two so pretty together?
will/djaq NEED to happen. i'm going to keep watching the first season in hopes of will/djaq moments, but if they're still being this subtle 11 episodes into the second season, i don't think i have much hope for the first season. ;D
The stupid King needs to get home, like, NOW, so that Robin/Marian can get married and start producing arrow-wielding, cartwheel-doing pretty babies with gorgeous eyes and cocky strides :).
I've been rewatching the first season too, just in case I missed any Will/Djaq moments. I thought their first meeting was kinda foreshadowing... He was initially scared of her carrying diseases ---> then he was amazed at her being able to start a fire without flint ---> he saw her boobies, the possibly funniest scene in season 1 ensued ---> she watched him trying to start a fire without success and decided to help, teasing him as "primitive," despite him having seen her boobies ---> he trying to protect her from the dangers of joining the gang ("It won't be safe for you) without revealing that she's a girl... Ahhh, Will, you're such a gentleman :).
Have you seen 1x10 btw? I believe that was the most obvious Will/Djaq episode :).
he saw her boobies, the possibly funniest scene in season 1 ensued that was pretty much the most amusing scene ever. will goes speechless then he gets all flail-ey when the branch hits him in the face. it was a true laugh out loud moment.
Robin/Marian can get married and start producing arrow-wielding, cartwheel-doing pretty babies with gorgeous eyes and cocky strides cocky strides! oh man, robin has the funniest strut ever. as for gorgeous eyes, i think everyone on this show has amazing eyes: marian, robin, allan, will... they're so pretty! i can't get over it♥
Before I say anything else, I wanna tell you that I made a mistake on episode 1x10! The Will/Djaq scene was in 1x08 (Allan/Marian was 1x10 ;D). I think you've seen that, no? It wasn't smack-in-your-face obvious, but it was cute... Again on Will's part ;).
I never realized how amusing the boobies scene was until I rewatched it again, having fallen in love with Will/Djaq in season 2 ;). I hope it didn't hurt for Harry to get hit by that branch. He looked hilarious and he rarely looks funny (more cuuuuuttttttteeeeeeeee beyond belief, no?).
I LOVE Robin's strut! It's one of my favoritest things about him because it's just SO TRUE TO CHARACTER. It suits him perfectly, with his hood, bow & arrow, cheeky demeanor. Go Jonas!
Thank you :D. I knew there was something that made me 'connect' and like both Allan and Marian, but it was never evident until this episode. Sure Marian has a higher sense of morality, but like Allan, she's a realist; she knows how to play the game and work within the system. I remember she telling Robin to let those men die (Allan and Will and co.) in the first episode because there really was nothing Robin could have done to save them, other than becoming an outlaw.
Yeah, we need more on Djaq's family. In a way, I'd prefer if they told us more on Robin's (where are his parents?), but it'd be good to see some characters from the 'other side' (ie. the Saracens) :).
Amen to that! I went on the BBC site straight after I saw the episode ('cause I managed to miss the normal clip of the next one, heh) and I immediately started exploding.(Screams, whoops, running around the study... I'm not joking!)
And did you see that bit in the flashy-bit at the end where Will was grinning and nearly in tears and Djaq was smiling so much? I spent half an hour trying to pause it on that moment. FAILED.
I went around and found out everything I could about the BBC promo (because it doesn't work for me), and seriously, bless the Robin Hood fandom, the community, and their meticulousness :). Even the transcript (yeah, okay, it was one line) was enough to make me go "OH MY GOD" out loud and started squealing (someone else mentioned in their review how Robin Hood is not a show to be watched in public ---> how TRUE that is, so I believe you ;D).
I can't get those smiling caps! But someone else did and I saw them in their review and I was like, EEeeeeeeeeeee!!!
Come on, they GOTTA give us Will/Djaq, right? Can they really be that cruel :(? I hope not...
TWO WEEKS minus one day!
And, finally, THANK YOU! Awesome of you to comment :).
