Books, Celebrities, & Quizzes

My eyes hurt because I've been reading too much: Five Harry Potter books in a month. I suppose that's not exactly a feat for a fast reader, but to be honest, I've always been more of a watcher than reader, so I'm pretty amazed by this little accomplishment :D. I guess the 'summer' (well, technically it's winter over here) is a good time to take a ( Read more... )

Hee, Potter-rereading is fun! I've been doing it myself, of translations (educational value, yo!) - in totally messed up order.

I need to take those quizzes, can never do too many. I think I've got Lupin once, and always a toss-up between Ravenclaw and Slytherin...

Wow, translations! Don't think I can ever do that ;). Is this for school? Well, all the best to you!

Yeah, I used to be pure Ravenclaw, but have been branching on to the other houses recently (most often Gryffindor) *shrug*.

I know. I seem to be zooming through the HP books. It's almost scary. :) I have just over 100 pages left in the 5th book.

Yes there is a show called Fast Cars and Superstars - every episode features three celebrities and one driver that is sponsored by Gillette. It's super boring - basically the celebrity follows the driver around the track and sees who posts the fastest lap - no real racing involved. I have watched a few episodes - depending on who the featured river was. I saw Kurt's, Jamie Mac's, Carl's and Newman's.

Well, better her than Snape, which I got when I took it again (Yech... though, re-reading HBP, I must admit that he's very clever).
Hee! Snape. The man is ver cleber though even if he can be a real ass.

Ryan Gosling? Lucky you. :)

I think it's just cause it's Harry Potter. I find it as easy to read as it gets. I'd read almost half of HBP before I decided to do this, but I decided to re-read it again from the beginning after I finished OotP. Surprisingly, it only took me two days to finish slightly more than half-the-book! Eeek, I don't want to finish it too quickly, but I can never help reading on...

Hmmm... Damn, that celebrity racing thing could've been so much more interesting... Ahhh well, I don't get it over here anyway.

Yeah, I REALLY don't like Snape for holding such (immature) grudge at Harry for James and Sirius, but re-reading OotP and HBP, I can't help but be impressed by the double-agent thing he's got going on... I still don't know where he's at, but I don't think Dumbledore can be wrong, so I'm gonna say 75% sure that Snape is good. Hmmm... *shrug*
