I'm searching for two recipes for a potluck family dinner of sorts.
Brussel Sprouts and Pumpkin Cheesecake.
Anyone have some tried and true recipes they'd like to share with me?

recipes, vegan thanksgiving

I really like my brussel sprouts sauteed up in some butter and white wine and seasoned with lemon pepper.

oh yeah, forgot to specify that these need to be vegan recipes...

I've got veg butter... have a more specific recipe? I'd like not to poison Dave's family (which is a 50/50 chance if I'm cooking ;-p )

Well, what you want to do is boil them first, to get them tender. Don't turn them mushy or anything, just get them edible. Cabbages tend to get a very characteristic and sour taste if you overcook them. Anyway, about 10 minutes before you're ready to eat, take a saute pan and put some white wine and veg butter in it... put the sprouts in and saute them, adding some salt and lemon pepper to taste. I tend to like a lot, but you might want to make it a bit more subtle... up to you. Saute them for a while, stirring them about to mix all the flavors.

thanks! sounds yummy!
question: how much will it change the flavor if I leave the white wine out?

think spelt flour and ener-g egg replacer would work with that recipe?
