My Murphy is one today. I can't believe a year has gone by already!

I had to put my old kitty Squeek down today. I hope her spirit is flying free now that she's rid of her cancer ridden old body. I love you Squeekers!

The girl says she loves coming to work but it must be a pain in the butt to have a boss who makes you do social things with her because she's afraid to go alone. I just told her I have an urge to go dancing (what a shock!) so she and Lynn have to take me out. Now they are trying to figure out where and when. Whew...another long and tiring day. This was the first time I ever flew United and I can pretty much guarantee I'll never fly them again. They had a 9 hour delay for my flight to Columbus and then a 3 hour delay coming home. It was realy crazy at the airport. I'm glad to say that Murphy was great though. YES!! That's two decisions the court got right this week. First they upheld affirmative action on Monday. Today they struck down the Texas anti-gay sodomy law. You know the right is going to attack this court and demand more ideological judges now. Way to go court! I love it when the law works :)

OMG it's hot! I'm not looking forward to hitting the hot pavement for my walk when I leave the office.

The results of a national poll were released today. The average American woman spends 20 minutes each morning styling her hair, more than double the time she spends having sex. A majority of the women surveyed said they would rather have great looking hair than great sex. Hmmm...
