This is a list of the 50 most-visited tourist attractions in the world. They left out pilgrimage stuff like Mecca, but put in Notre Dame because it's usually visited by tourists as an architectural wonder, not religious pilgrims.

Bold for where you've been, italics where you want to go...then add one place you want to go to.

What's in Guilin?

Guilin is the province with the pretty mountains that all look like Sugarloaf mountain. Of course, half of it's underwater or soon to be underwater because of the humongous Three Gorges Dam. China is desperate for water and is willing to trade its cultural heritage to keep people alive. I don't disagree with any particular point, but it's a huge loss.

And I have been to none of those places. Not that I haven't been anywhere (road trips from the center of the US to nearly both oceans), just not any popular places apparently.
