Currently I'm mulling over two compositions. When I say mulling I mean repetitive thoughts more on par with dread. One will encompass my life for the following year as I work on my thesis and the other will be a catalog of my discontentment towards my mother's behavior

I think loss of innocence doesn't just happen when you're young or once in your life for that matter. I think it is a continuing process that we go through.
We assume family won't change and the creature comforts will always remain in tack but it is a real wake up call when something smacks those thoughts right out of our heads.
The positive is that you have your own family now and can find comfort there that won't be going anywhere.

Even when you're working on that thesis for a year.
