I've read the first two chapters online, and that plus this summary makes me want it to be October 12 already. And I'm currently in the process of re-reading the entire series for literally the eighth time, and I find it hilarious that Rick Riordan totally foreshadowed the entire "missing camper" plot of the The Lost Hero in The Titan's Curse, but because of everything else that happened, it slipped people's minds. Gods, the man is a genius.

Wait, wait, foreshadowed in The Titan's Curse? How do you mean?

In The Titan's Curse, everybody and their mother tells Percy that he should go look for Annabeth, or that they know he'll do the right thing in the end when in comes to her, because *blatantly obvious foreshadowing*: "She'd do the same thing for him". I kind of feel like Rick already had The Lost Hero planned out when he wrote The Titan's Curse, and was just messing with our heads for his daily giggles.
