MJN Air has a movie night. It's a horror movie.

Martin - not one to be all that interested in horror flicks, expected it to be a decidedly dull couple of hours...until he begins to notice something VERY interesting.

...Douglas seems to be getting increasingly agitated.

QED - Martin notices that Douglas is frightened whilst watching a horror movie. What does he do with this added 'something' over the first officer

Bonus points if he is actually rather sympathetic/caring

Oh, you know what's gorgeous about this? Martin still being Martin, even though in this situation he's the one propping up the freaked-out Douglas.
I luuuuurve Martin!whump, but I also love getting to see him come out on top just for a little while now and then too. This was lovely.

I'm with Douglas though. Can't stand horror movies. Blair Witch bored me senseless but don't ever mention zombies... zombies freak the hell out of me. I barely even made it through Shaun of the Dead.

Oh me too...I have a complete zombie phobia. Something about being alone in a world full of brainless monsters...the beginning of 28 Days Later sends me into hysterics. I thought that Douglas might be more afraid of the entire suspense of the thing though, the idea of something bad hanging over your head and waiting to drop, rather than the freaked-out sensation.
Glad you liked!
