Martin wasn't the type of man to give up... even in the face of overwhelming adversity. Even when his own parents had told him he was too thick to be a pilot, even when the examining board failed him over and over and over, he'd stuck with it, knowing his own sheer will would get him, eventually what he wanted ( ... )
