BRILLIANT, as Arthur would say! Has a touch of the "Fear and Loathing" about it, which makes it even more enjoyable.

Brilliant start! I like the way Arthur pointed out to Martin why Douglas is the perfect match for him and that Carolyn is so protective of Martin.

How awesome is this?! :D I absolutely adore the set up. Douglas with a cunning plan, which he tangled himself up in... great! Love it.

Oh, I love fierce!Carolyn's protectiveness! And her threat. :D And Douglas being caught in his own web, I love it when that happens.

Douglas would better get this right...

(I admit, the angst-loving part of me now desperately wants to read the version where Martin does find out that it was a joke... and where Douglas doesn't feel the same about Martin. But that's just me being angsty!)
