I've got this image in my head of Arthur being, like, super fantastic with kids. (Possibly because he is one at heart.) Could I get something about Arthur maybe comforting a wee crying tot on a flight, and everyone being amazed at how good he is at it?

Wow, so I didn't know if Cabin Pressure would ever be a fic-writing fandom for me, but this prompt just sprung to life in my brain. It's just barely over the character limit, too, so I split it in half

Thanks! When I thought about it, I realized that Arthur had to have been one of those delightfully happy babies other parents are desperately jealous of.

Awww this is absolutely adorable
I liked all the characters in this and Douglas' being at a loss for sarcasm really did serve as a brilliant way of illustrating just how serious the situation was XD
Arthur was sweet as ever - yeah, basically just loved it, well done

And on an entirely separate note, I love you icon - Malcolm Tucker is the best :D

Thank you! It also conveniently saved me from having to write anything sufficiently Douglas-y to pass muster. ;) The others are fairly easy, but I'd probably have to spend more time finetuning a Douglas witticism than I did writing the entire fic.

And thanks! I was on board (so to speak) with checking out CB the second I was told Roger Allam was in it. I've loved him since I discovered TToI a couple years ago.
