Not many news is good news?

Continuing to work from home, as always. Working and household activities are sometimes interrupted by "flash mobs" of people playing the national anthem or singing from their balconies. There are synchronised balcony flash mobs in all Italy.

I see they are taking measures in the US as well. I only hope a form of healthcare without payment could be arranged for the situation.

What a difficult situation. We, too, are now partly in lockdown. Schools, all restaurants and such places, cinemas etc. have closed. Child care is available only for people in 'vital professions'. This is going to be such a drain on the economy, we're going to feel this for a long time to come.

We are all fine at the moment, however news of the contagion begin to arrive here as well. Two cousins of a friend of mine have been infected and are at the hospital.

I wish you to go through this period "unscathed". The virus is spreading fast in France, too, and this afternoon we learned that a colleague's daughter was tested positive with it. It's not fiction!

No, it is not fiction! As more and more of Europe and the USA will go in a lockdown, we will all be in the same quarantine...
